Terence and Jill Smith
Hey there, we are Terence and Jill Smith. We are servants of God through Christ.......serving with purpose, on purpose, and breaking all of the traditional rules and barriers in our path. We are business savvy. However, our gifts and talents have only produced success because they are rooted in the Word of God. Yep, we do business with a purpose and mission to equip individuals and married couples to develop God-centered nonprofits and foundations, so that they can fulfill their divine assignment to give and serve with excellence and impact.
The Smiths Serve LLC, is a certified Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

We started working with Jill in 2012. We had a vision on a piece of paper, but did not know how to turn the vision into a business. We followed EVERY strategy Jill gave us. Sometimes reluctantly. Now, 12 years later, we have THREE mission-driven ventures including a 7-figure venture that is a community staple. Our goal this year is to employ 100 individuals. Working with Jill has taught us to write the vision and make it plain. Annually, we meet with Jill to set strategic goals. Jill and Terence are now considered our family.

I had an idea to help disadvantage youth explore and experience aviation. Flying was a childhood passion that turned into a career. I met Jill at Starbucks. Within six months, she helped me form a nonprofit with the core program focusing on STEM. We launched as a summer program and had to implement a waitlist because the demand was that great. Working with Jill resulted in massive media coverage, strategic partnerships, and even access to a Learjet to use in the program. Jill is great at what she does and gives more than she takes.

I've had Jill on a monthly retainer since the board chair and I took her nonprofit ecourse almost 4 years ago. Jill meets with me and the board, regularly. This year, the board traveled to Charlotte NC from Maryland for our annual strategic planning retreat and VIP Day with Jill. Jill entered the room and graciously disrupted our agenda. She gave us a thought-provoking exercise that made everyone in the room emotional. That exercise was the catalyst to restructuring our core program, the I Am Hannah program.
